Alliance Project Report 17th June

Well, last week I started on my Alliance Project. I had been clearing out the guild bank of all the stuff I had in there for a good couple of years. I stuck it on the AH letting Auctioneer undercut with default settings for 4 days and then lowered the price drastically for the last day or so before vendoring what remained. I could have kept trying but I wanted the space. I then had my dwarf hunter visit all the pet vendors, picking up 12 of each pet that were only available to the Alliance, which is nearly all of them if I remember right. He then visited the cooking recipe vendor in Stormwind, buying 4 of each Ally only recipe. I then had a character on the GFs account do the same Horde side getting a much smaller collection. Once again I see things in favour of the Alliance, grrrrrr.

Then very late Friday night, both characters visited the AH in Booty Bay and an hour was spent transferring goods from one faction to another and vice versa. The ability of Auctioneer to buyout with a click is amazing, once you know its there (thank you Stokpile for pointing this out).

The recipes were posted on the AH one at a time for around 20g buyout when there isn’t competition, of which there is little. The pets have a maximum price of 30g, again when there isn’t competition but when others are being sold the price can drop to as low as 10g. Some pets are selling better than others. I also picked up 3 of the pets from Stormspire and am selling them for around 30g each to.

It seems that I am not doing too badly creating capital Alliance side for future purchases. I had 1500g when I started clearing stuff out and I am now up to over 2200g. Not too shabby I must say for selling pets. I am now looking for other markets that are only available to the Horde the Alliance might appreciate. I am also buying up wool cloth and am going to try moving that over too. Anything to make more revenue on the Horde side.

As to profits Horde side from this venture, well I’m not sure at the moment. Alliance item sells have been mixed in with sales of items I have made with Horde characters. I am looking for something to keep accurate records but haven’t found anything yet.
